Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to lead our residential projects from initial concept through to final installation. In this role, you will serve as the creative visionary, responsible for delivering innovative design solutions that integrate aesthetics with functionality. Working in tandem with our construction team, you’ll ensure that every detail reflects our commitment to excellence and bespoke luxury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of residential interior design—from space planning and schematic design to design development and installation.
- Develop and present creative design concepts, including custom furniture designs, material selections, and finishes.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Communicate design vision clearly to junior staff, delegating tasks and overseeing project timelines.
- Create and manage project budgets, ensuring designs meet both aesthetic and financial objectives.
- Oversee integration of design services with construction processes to deliver a cohesive final product.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients and industry partners, representing the firm at meetings and events.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field (or an Associate degree with relevant design experience).
- 4-5 years’ experience in residential interior design, preferably within a high-end market.
- Proficiency in design software such as Google SketchUp 3D, Chief Architect, or equivalent.
- Exceptional communication skills with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and budgets in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior designers and delegate responsibilities effectively.
- A refined sense of style, creative vision, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary: $40,998 - $88,612, based on experience, certifications, and portfolio.
